businesses, the InputAccel Express Process Extension Pack (PEP)
expands the functionality of egami, giving fast indexing of information
based on the content of the scanned document, with minimal manual intervention.
This makes it especially useful for situations where documents are being
scanned and indexed across multiple locations.

The InputAccel Express PEP is an easy-to-use, out-of-the-box
addition to egami, which enables you to be up and running in only
minutes. It takes scanned images, enhances them, automatically indexes
them and converts them into a format of your choosing. Your business
rules are then applied to the stored data, providing you with immediately
usable content.
Capture made easy

system made up of various building blocks, or modules. You use only
the ones you need to carry out the required task.
The Process Wizard enables you to select and fine-tune various modules
to create a new CaptureFlow and then delivers a summary of the newly
created process.
The ability
to easily deploy and administer this powerful application is primarily
due to its user-friendly Process Wizard. The Process Wizard is a graphical
user interface that provides a point-and-click means of creating ‘CaptureFlows’
which can be specific to each document type that comes into your organisation.
A CaptureFlow consists of user-determined processes through which
a document is passed and then incorporated into your information systems.
For example, the CaptureFlow for document A may require running image enhancement, indexing and then various exports to deliver content to multiple locations, whereas document B need only be scanned and stored in a repository. The Process Wizard lets you easily create a CaptureFlow for each document type.
The graphical user interface presents a series of dialog boxes which allow users with little or no development experience to easily build organisation-specific or document-specific CaptureFlows. And once these have been developed, the Process Wizard creates a summary of each for future reference.
